WHAT ON THE FACADE OF THE HOUSE
An important part of the design of a family house is also the solution of the facade. The facade also reveals a lot about the owner of the house. He reveals to us whether, in the house, there is a practical minimalist, a nature lover, or a person with a passion for technical achievements.
When deciding what to do with the facade, we have a wide choice, from classic plasters through various types of tiles. Plaster is probably the most used in our country, from the point of view of the overall appearance of the house, a person can cause perhaps the least damage with it, but recently also the largest ones. One of its pluses is certainly that it is the most affordable. As for tiles, we could divide them into contact tiles - glued and tiles fixed to the structure - ventilated facades.
Although ventilated facades are a more expensive affair, they have their advantages. The air gap significantly dampens the thermal differences between the interior and exterior and thus improves the indoor climate of the household. As for the maintenance of facade cladding, a better choice is large-format boards, the relief of which is flat and they have a smaller number of joints between them.
Wooden cladding
The wood on the facade looks very natural and traditional. In our region, wood has always been a building material. However, as it is a natural material, wooden cladding is subject to weather conditions, changes color, dark or gray. It is necessary to take care of it and regularly maintain it, clean it (or sand it) and paint it.
Therefore, foreign or more exotic types of wood that are more resistant are popular: Siberian spruce, cedar or Scandinavian spruce. An alternative is to choose the so-called thermal wood, which is produced in special dryers from common woods. It is more resistant to humid environments, insects, wind and has excellent thermal insulation properties. The wooden cladding is attached to the grate structure.
